The Extension Chords small ensemble was created to perform in venues that are not able to accommodate the entire 120-member River Blenders Chorus.  The 18 members auditioned separately to be part of this group, and they rehearse on Tuesdays, in addition to the full chorus rehearsal on Mondays.

Large or small, no matter what the occasion or event, the Extension Chords can tailor a performance to suit any need.  From Jazz to Rock & Roll, Patriotic to Holiday, and Humorous to Heartfelt, this group’s music will appeal to everyone.  They have performed for holidays, parties, civic events, festivals, corporate functions and many other occasions.  To find out more, or to book a performance, contact Gloria at (636) 391-7117 or echords@riverblenders.org.

The Extension Chords Coach

Nancee Reinhold, bass, won the 1978 Sweet Adelines International Competition with her quartet, Tetrachords.  After a brief hiatus, she re-joined the River Blenders, and now coaches and sings with the Extension Chords.  When not singing, she enjoys antiquing and visiting the family farm.  She and her husband, Bill, have two sons and five grandchildren.
