Here's The Deal
Cheryl Abbott, tenor, began her love affair with performing at age 3 when her grandfather took her to the neighbourhood ice cream parlour and stood her on the counter to sing for free ice cream cones. Thus began her passion for singing and, unfortunately, ice cream. In 1985 Cheryl joined the River Blenders chorus when her soon-to-be ex-husband suggested she get a hobby in response to her complaints that he was never home. She now shares her home with a very loveable Golden/Husky mix named Daisy, a much more agreeable companion. Cheryl has served on the River Blenders chorus team and has sung in two other quartets that provided great fun and lasting friendships.

Ann
Keller, lead, has been in Sweet Adelines since 1988.
She is the visual coordinator for the River Blenders chorus and,
in real life, the director of SunRise UMC Preschool. Ann
has two grown daughters (her pride and joy) and is married to Kevin, a
long- time barbershopper who has graciously given his time to provide
the quartet with occasional coaching and musical arrangements. Ann has sung baritone, lead, and
tenor in previous quartets and is a regional quartet champion on two
voice parts (not both at the same time).

Chris Wiley,
bass, hails from the City of A member of Sweet
Adelines International since 1989, Chris has been a bass section leader
and has served on the River Blenders chorus team.
She holds several regional quartet medals. Chris says that not
only is Heres the Deal an easy quartet to sing with but
it
also fulfills her longtime wish
to sing in a quartet with her sister, Nancy who sings baritone in
the quartet.
