    River Blenders Chorus, affiliated with Sweet Adelines International will hold our annual SING FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AWARD SHOW during our St. Louis Art Fair performance on Sat, Sept 9, 2023 at 11:30 AM!
      
    All students are welcome to apply for an audition to perform in our contest and compete for cash prizes.  Simply fill out our Google Sign-up Form.  You can expect to hear from a chorus representative shortly.

    We have had great success with our Sing For Scholarships Awards program and have awarded more than $34,000 in the past years!  

    Audition and Performance Details:
    • All students who are entering grades 6 – 12 in the 2023-24 school year and are under 18 years old on September 9, 2023 are eligible to submit an application.
    • The first twenty (20) eligible students who submit an application through our website, riverblenders.org, will be invited to audition and sing one song, accompanied or a cappella.
    • Auditions will be held on two Monday evenings - July 10 and July 24, 2023 at St. Martin’s Church in Ellisville, MO. We will select five (5) finalists based on vocal skills and performance ability. 
    • The finalists will perform and compete for cash prizes during the River Blenders Chorus’ 11:30 AM performance at the St. Louis Art Fair, September 9, 2023 in Clayton, Missouri.
    • St. Louis Art Fair audience members will vote for their favorite contestant after all five competitors have performed.
    • River Blenders Chorus will announce the results at the end of the chorus’ performance. Cash prizes will be awarded to each of the five contestants. In case of cancellation of the event, the purse will be divided evenly among the five contestants.
